Our Rice Village Holiday Guide

Let us be your Rice Village holiday tour guide! Here is a short, walkable list of Rice Village shops and restaurants that we think can't be missed this holiday season.

1st Stop: Flo Paris French Bakery & Cafe

Our favorite latte – We start everyday with a latte or flat white from Flo Paris, but when the weather gets cold (or at least colder), we practically run to Flo. So we suggest you start your holiday shopping tour with a Flo latte. They use Lavazza Italian espresso beans and will satisfy any of you milk needs (our orders include almond milk, nonfat milk, whole milk and whipped cream). BRB ... going to get a latte!

2nd Stop: J. Landa

Diamond Lobster Clasp Necklace – As you know, we're all about helping you create your own personal story at J. Landa. With our signature lobster clasp necklace, you're able to wear it by itself or add unique pendants (the more the merrier) that tell your story. The touch of diamonds on the clasp will have you shimmering your way into the holidays. Come see our one-of-a-kind pieces in store now!

Chan Luu scarf – We're obsessed with Chan Luu's cashmere and silk scarves (70/30%). They are the perfect go-to for everyday wear – and the perfect travel companion. And there are so many ways to wear them. Come in and we'll show you! You won't want to leave home without your Chan Luu scarf!

3rd Stop: Emerson Sloan

Cocktail napkins – It's that time of the year for festive happy hours and spur of the moment cocktail parties. Emerson Sloan has the best selection of festive and fun cocktail napkins with the perfect message – quirky and sometimes tongue-in-cheek. Stock up so you're always ready for after-dinner drinks at the house.

Clever holiday decor – We think Emerson Sloan's clever and goofy holiday decor is a must for adding some humor and lightheartedness to the holidays. Expect things like playful tree ornaments, holiday-scented socks (yes, really) and off-the-wall decor items. (You will also find stylish servingware to go with your absolutely-necessary mini holiday pinata.)

4th Stop: Piermarini

Boho-chic oversized sweaters – We all get a little heftier during the holidays, right? Pass the pie, please! That's why we love to throw on an oversized sweater from Piermarini for an effortlessly boho-chic look. The store is stocked with wardrobe staples that are never too trendy. They will become classic pieces in your closet.

5th Stop: La Taste French Boutique

Holiday scents – A favorite part of the holidays? The smell of a fresh Christmas tree. Every year we look forward to lighting our holiday candles, and La Taste has a great selection of Thymes's Frasier Fir-scented products – candles, diffusers, lotions and more. Tell 'em we sent ya!

L'Occitane Hand Lotion – Cooler weather means dry skin. Keep a tube of L'Occitane hand location in your bag or at your desk for a small treat-yourself moment during the day. These also make great stocking stuffers!

Final Stop: Salento

Wine Time – We love to stop in for light European bites and a bottle of wine after work. An added bonus? They have a retail wine program. So after your happy hour and before you head to your holiday party, buy a bottle of wine as a hostess gift. Get $12 off on retail wine prices.

Happy shopping and sipping!

xoxo,
the J. Landa team
